当社は1972年からヨーロッパの照明器具の輸入販売をしております。早くからヨーロッパのブランドの完成品ではなく、ﾊﾟｰﾂとしての輸入を始め、国内で組立てて、日本の厳しい規格と住宅事情に合わせた商品を大手照明器具販売会社を通して販売しておりました。まもなくAkaneブランドの自社製品も開発して百貨店・家具店等を通して販売を開始し、ヨーロッパ照明器具の製造メーカーとして知られるようになりました。1997年にはイタリアに現地事務所を開設し、イタリアでの開発に力入れてきました。現在はItalia,Spain,USA 等から数多くの製品を輸入し、日本の市場に供給しています。

Akane Lighting - an overview
Starting from importing complete lighting fixtures from Europe in the year 1972, Akane soon moved to import mainly the parts to assemble the fixtures in its own facilities in Japan in order to meet the strict Japanese standards. That led to the development of European-style lighting fixtures adapted to the specific needs of the Japanese market, such as extremely low fixture height to fit the small rooms in Japan with their low ceilings. Akane began to distribute nationwide through the networks of the large distributors. The establishment of a local subsidiary in Ｉｔａｌｙ in 1997 led to the increased development of 'adapted' European styles and the distribution of original European designs through large furniture stores in the major population centers of Japan. |
